It's that time of year again when creative agencies throughout the world compete for the coveted title of 'Most Innovative Christmas Mailer'. From cards that change into Christmas Puddings when introduced to Champagne, to constructing your own Santa's grotto from scraps of old presentations, you'll no doubt see it all.
We've saved ourselves the pain of entering by following our well trodden path of contributing what we would have spent on gifts and origami to a needy cause that means something to one of our team.
This year I've been lucky enough to get the nod and YORKHILL SICK KIDS HOSPITAL will be the recipient of our donation.
Yorkhill provides care and medical attention for thousands of children every year and if you ever think your job is difficult or emotionally stressful, I recommend you spend a day on one of the many wards. My children have been the recipients of fantastic levels of care and attention from Yorkhill staff for which myself and my family are grateful.
Last week my children helped raise a significant sum for the hospital by participating in their annual Razzamatazz concert but since I can't sing, dance or act it was pointed out that I needed to find another way to show my gratitude.
